Some people have lamented the loss of those older GIMP gradients, so I copied the missing flag gradients from GIMP 2.6 and am posting them here for you to download and install. The good news is, you don’t have to revert to GIMP 2.6 to get your gradients back. Whatever the reason though, when you upgrade to GIMP 2.8 you may find those flag gradients missing. I’m not sure what the reasoning behind leaving the Flag gradients out of 2.8 was (it’s not mentioned in the GIMP 2.8 release notes).
